But there’s some genuine research here done by Gallup. You’ve heard of Gallup, of course. They did a survey of United States-based companies because they do a lot of employee engagement surveys over there, and they compared the results of the employee engagement survey with the company’s financial results.
What they found was that companies in the higher quartile of employee engagement had double the profit growth. Let me say that again, double the profit growth, of their peers. So having highly engaged employees improves your profits. I don’t see why that’s a surprise, I’m actually astonished that people can’t see that! People seem to think that employee engagement makes a few percent difference. It doesn’t, it makes a massive difference.
So Gallup thinks so, I know so because I’ve done it many times, and I’m trying to tell it to you. Why won’t you listen? Come on!
